A free adaptation of Andersens famous fairy tale, this enchanting play comes to life on our
stage and transports you to a romantic world where love, dance and fame come together in
a touching story.
Les Souliers rouges is a fairy tale that tells of life, of our choices and renunciations, a story
that resonates with the dreams, values and principles that are close to our hearts, a musical
fairy tale that can be experienced with the whole family. The whole thing is accompanied by
breathtaking video projections, a grandiose lighting show and stage transformations.
This enchanting show, created by Marc Lavoine and Fabrice Aboulker, combines original
chansons with classical dance and features three young, talented singers who have become
famous through television programmes and social networks: Loryn Nounay, Guilhem Valayé
and Benjamin Siksou. Classical dancers and singers combine to create a breathtaking
performance.
Isabelle, a young girl with a pure heart, goes to Paris to realise her dream of becoming a
prima ballerina. Victor, a well-known choreographer, decides to perform the cursed ballet
"Les Souliers rouges". According to legend, the devil haunts the corridors of the opera house
and has hidden a pair of magical shoes that contain a trap: "The one who puts them on will
achieve fame, but must renounce love, otherwise the curse will be terrible."
Victor and the dancer will not find success so easily: The love of a young journalist, Ben, puts
Isabelle to the test and forces her to choose between love and dance.
