The standout Eurovision Song Contest artist Joost Klein, known for his song “Europapa”, will embark on a world tour in 2026 following a string of sold-out shows across Europe’s major cities and the United States. The tour will stop in Latvia on June 18 at the Palladium Riga concert hall. This tour marks a historic milestone — next year, Joost Klein will become the first Dutch-language artist to perform at the Coachella festival.
Tickets go on sale on December 19 at 10:00 via the “Biļešu Serviss” network. Members of the Positivus Festival and FBI Concert Club will have access to a presale starting December 18 at 10:00, using a code that will be sent to registered users.
Multidisciplinary artist Joost Klein (also known as JOOST) stands out with his bold and playful creative signature. His energetic sound blends mainstream pop, happy hardcore, and wild punk influences, creating a vivid and unpredictable artistic identity. In his music, Joost speaks openly about personal experiences and struggles, including the loss of his parents at a young age, and candidly addresses his battles with mental health challenges. He transforms sadness into euphoria, reminding us that we are all only human.
Throughout his career, Joost Klein has collaborated with several prominent and internationally recognized artists, including Finnish sensation Käärijä, Estonian provocateur Tommy Cash, and Canadian rapper bbno$, further cementing his position at the forefront of Europe’s alternative pop culture.
Joost Klein’s path to recognition began as a YouTube content creator under the name EenhoornJoost. He published videos in various formats — from short, absurd sketches to mini-documentaries offering a glimpse into his private life. In 2016, Joost released his debut short-format album (EP) “Dakloos”, after which he fully committed to a career in music.
A major turning point in his career came in 2023 with the release of the single “Friesenjung”, created in collaboration with German rapper Ski Aggu. “Friesenjung” is an adaptation of a song originally created by German comedian Otto Waalkes. The track gained widespread popularity in Germany and paved the way for the international attention Joost received when he participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024. His song “Europapa” became a true Eurovision phenomenon, quickly capturing the hearts of listeners across Europe and beyond.
Joost Klein's performance at Palladium Riga promises to be a complete artistic experience where music, visuals, and emotion unite to create something unforgettable. The tour will showcase his status as one of Europe's most exciting and innovative artists as he continues to push boundaries with every performance.
