Groove Spectrum Trio | Polovko, Andresons, Dižais

On February 21, MASA Culture Bar welcomes saxophonist Andrejs Polovko, pianist Atis Andersons, and drummer Sigvards Dižais. The program features groove-driven jazz in which the language of jazz and blues organically intertwines with funk and soul rhythms.

The ensemble’s sound is defined by a focused form, pronounced rhythmic momentum, and free interaction between the musicians. The Hammond organ adds a dense, warm timbre, the saxophone shapes clear melodic lines, while the drums provide a solid and energetic foundation.
