Linda Kozule: LŪKO
03.10.2025 – 29.11.2025
The exhibition LŪKO invites viewers to look into a human being as into the ocean – deeply, multilayered, and filled with the vibration of light. At its core are six large-format portraits that reveal not only the external image but also inner spiritual tension, the radiance of insight, and the reflection of emotions.
In Linda Kozule’s works, the portrait transcends documentary precision, becoming a search for spirituality and the divine spark within a human being. Alongside the newest paintings, smaller-format works are also on view, tracing the artist’s journey in exploring portraiture.
The portraits were created in collaboration with photographers Heinz Ryser (Switzerland) and Jānis Bartaševics (Latvia), with Ilze Ungere as the model.
Linda Kozule – an artist with extensive international experience, 18 solo exhibitions, and works in museum and private collections worldwide – continues to explore the boundaries of painting and the possibilities of human representation.
LŪKO – it already exists. Let us look and see!
