HEAVY METAL SUPERGROUP CAVALERA CONSPIRACY TO PERFORM AT PALLADIUM
More than thirty years after the release of the album "Chaos A.D.", brothers Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera return to one of their most intense and influential records. The album, which once took the metal world by storm, has retained its power and relevance to this day. With songs such as "Refuse/Resist", "Territory", "Slave New World", and "Propaganda", they have remained among the most important figures on the metal scene since the 1990s. On June 27, they will perform with Cavalera Conspiracy at the Palladium Riga concert hall. Tickets go on sale from April 30 at 12:00 through the Biļešu Serviss network.
The brothers’ musical journey began in the 1980s in Brazil, where they formed the band Sepultura. It started as a small but ambitious project and gradually gained international recognition. With a sound that combined thrash and death metal with Brazilian rhythms and punk energy, the band expanded the boundaries of the genre and later became one of the most influential metal acts in the world.
An important part of their legacy is the 1993 album "Chaos A.D.", widely regarded as one of the most influential metal releases of its time. It combines an aggressive sound with strong social themes, clearly reflected in tracks like "Refuse/Resist", "Territory", "Slave New World", and "Propaganda". These songs have become genre classics and remain a core part of live performances.
After several years apart, the brothers reunited and in 2007 formed Cavalera Conspiracy. The project became a natural continuation of their creative path. The band brings together their early experience with a modern sound while maintaining the intensity and energy that define their music. Over nearly 20 years, they have released four studio albums: "Inflikted" (2008), "Blunt Force Trauma" (2011), "Pandemonium" (2014), and "Psychosis" (2017), consistently delivering their signature high-intensity style.
In concerts, alongside newer material, they also perform early tracks from the Sepultura repertoire, covering different stages of their career. The Riga show will be a special event, as it marks the first time since 1992 that Max and Igor Cavalera perform together in the city, offering audiences an intense and energetic live experience.
