VISAGINO COUNTRY International Country Music Festival

Traditionally, every year in mid-August, the international country music festival "Visagino Country" takes place in Visaginas, the youngest city in Lithuania, beautifully situated on the shores of a picturesque lake and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. This year, on 21–22 August, Visaginas will become the capital of country music for the seventeenth time.

"Visagino Country" is one of the largest country music festivals in Eastern Europe. Over the years, it has earned international recognition and has helped promote Lithuania abroad. Every year, more than 100 performers from over 25 countries take to the festival stage. Many world-renowned country music stars have also performed here. Having won the hearts of audiences, many of them have themselves become devoted supporters of the festival, always eager to return.

In addition to the concerts held at the stadium, the festival features many traditional events, including performances by festival artists in Lithuania's largest cities, the "Country Gospels" project at the Visaginas church, the closing concerts of the children's and youth music project "Country Hopes", the photo and children's art exhibitions "Country Moments" and "Drawing the Festival", the colourful motorcycle parade of country music fans, Line Dance performances celebrating one of the world's oldest social dance traditions, and many other activities.

The festival will also feature performances by the dance groups "Ciongs", "Dakota", and "Kangoo Jumps Utena".
