Lewis Capaldi to perform in Vilnius at the end of May

Lewis Capaldi to perform in Vilnius at the end of May On May 31st, Lewis Capaldi, the performer of megahits Someone You Loved, Before You Go, Survive and Forget Me, will perform at Vilnius' Vingis Park. This will be the only concert of the talented singer and author of emotionally moving songs in the Baltic States. Fans can expect to hear such well-known hits as Bruises, Pointless, Hold Me While You Wait, Grace, Wish You the Best, with which he has already won the hearts of millions of listeners. It is especially significant that after a 2-year break dedicated to improving his health, Lewis Capaldi will go on tour with a completely new passion. His concert schedule shows that many dates are already completely sold out. Including his New York Madison Square Garden show, which sold out in under a minute, and London’s Hyde Park, where an additional date had to be added. The ticket sales throughout the Biļešu serviss network: January 12th, from 10am pre-sale only for www.ltips.lv news subscribers January 14th, from 10am pre-sale only for recipients of Biļešu serviss Entertainment post January 16th, from Public sale will begin at 10am The world first got to know the talent of Scottish-Italian composer, musician and performer Lewis Capaldi in 2017, when the piece Bruises quickly amassed almost 28 million plays on Spotify worldwide, making him the fastest-ever unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on the platform. However, all this could not have happened at all, because Lewis's father had a vasectomy, so the boy's conception was a real miracle. Little Lewis became interested in music at an early age: a passion for performing started after he sang on stage at the age of 4 and started learning to play the guitar at the age of 9, soon composing his first original songs. Following the staggering success of Bruises, Lewis Capaldi quickly signed a record deal and shot to the top of the pop music world like a rocket — becoming the first artist ever to sell out an arena tour before releasing his full debut album “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent”. Tickets for the tour were snapped up within minutes, and this historic achievement was entered into the Guinness World Records. There is no doubt that the key single from his debut studio album, Someone You Loved, played a major role in Lewis Capaldi’s global rise. The track charted in 29 countries, spent seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 in the UK, became the best selling British single of 2019, and entered both the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100, cementing Capaldi’s talent on both sides of the Atlantic. "Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent" went on to become the best-selling album of not only 2019, but also 2020 in the UK and Ireland. Lewis Capaldi's second studio album, "Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent" (2023), with the singles Forget Me, Pointless and Wish You the Best, continued the success of his debut, becoming the fastest-selling album in the UK. When asked by NME about the inspiration of the songs on the album, Lewis commented with characteristic irony: "I would go out and look out at the world and what's shit, and then I would write songs pertaining to that". In 2023, Capaldi announced that he was temporarily stepping away from public life to focus more on his emotional and physical health (the artist had been diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome). The break proved beneficial — two years later, in 2025, Lewis Capaldi made a triumphant return, with audiences responding enthusiastically to his performance on the Glastonbury Festival stage and to his newly released EP “Survive” in November. The album's lead single Survive, in which the artist talks about his comeback and his determination to continue what he started despite difficulties, became his sixth No. 1 hit in the UK chart. The list of awards received or nominated for by Lewis Capaldi includes Grammys, Brit Awards, Scottish Music Awards, Q Awards, MTW Music Awards and many others, thus confirming that he is one of the most acclaimed artists of his generation by critics and listeners. However, the truest testament to Lewis Capaldi's personality and mastery are his concerts. Since he performs songs with all his heart, so moving that there is no doubt about his own experience, while always complementing them with comments full of open self-irony, it is no wonder that many thousands appreciate his extraordinary personality. Having successfully performed in sold-out arenas (the first tour sold out in 1 second before even the release of his debut album) and at major festivals, and having previously opened for stars like Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Rag'n'Bone Man, Sam Smith, Milky Chance, Lewis Capaldi is now embarking on the most ambitious tour of his career — with Vilnius as the only stop in the entire Baltic region. Next year The Offspring will perform in Latvia

We can all be congratulated - the long-awaited moment when The Offspring will perform in Riga has arrived. That's right - experience the concert of the iconic punk rock giant The Offspring in Arena Riga on October 5th, 2025.  The band continues to surprise and excite listeners with their energy and original style, offering fresh material with their latest album “Supercharged”, which continues to assure their importance in the music world. Fans can expect a powerful sound that continues the tradition of combining classic punk rock with a modern approach. As part of the tour, they will be joined by Canadian stars Simple Plan as special guests.

The Offspring - one of the most popular American bands of all time, with which punk rock suddenly rose to fame in the nineties. Crowded concerts, songs that are recognizable from the first second, more than 40 million albums sold - this, of course, does not count the listeners who do not buy anything, but borrow from a friend or a saint in peace and patiently wait for the 21st century to increase the already impressive record of the group of today's listeners on streaming platforms. The band's videos were once actively rotated on music television channels not only in the late hours, when louder and more aggressive rock music was "sent out" before, but also during the day when even children were glued to the televisions. And now they've all grown up to celebrate The Offspring's fortieth anniversary with a bang.

The Offspring is attributed to the genre label pop-punk, the origin of which is not difficult to find - punk rock. This term appeared episodically already in the second half of the seventies when talking about The Ramones, Blondie, and The Police, but in the nineties, it experienced a new boom of unprecedented power - The Offspring together with Green Day and Blink-182, becoming arena stars and headliners of the biggest festivals. Now The Offspring has sold more than 40 million copies of albums worldwide, becoming not only the pioneers of punk rock but also one of the best-selling bands of all time in the entire wide, varied, and decades-long history of rock music.

But that's not all! This year, The Offspring, after a break of more than ten years, has pleased their fans with a new - already eleventh studio album "Supercharged". During this time, more than one exciting moment has happened in the life of the group, confirming the importance of The Offspring in a very large amplitude of generations - in two different concerts, two megastars joined them on stage as guests of honor. One of them is Ed Sheeran, the most relevant singer of the moment. The other is Brian May, the guitarist of the legendary band Queen, which has long been written in golden letters in the history of rock. The hits "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy), "Why Don't You Get A Job", "Self Esteem" or "Come Out and Play" are known even to those who have probably never heard the term "punk rock".

You won't be able to raise an eye among your many projects or look away from them, as you will realize that you are already late - don't hurt yourself! This will not happen with a ticket in your pocket - you will be safe, which will be provided by the heart-warming and comforting knowledge that you have already reserved your chosen place on the list. Participation without entrance exams. Join us next year, on October 5th, in Arena Riga.
